Peking Duck House, a family business, opened in July, 2010, was instantly a local hot spot. Right after a month of its grand opening, the restaurant owner, Harry Wu was interviewed by the New York Times. “The journalists are satisfied with the dishes every time they come here for the interview,” says Harry proudly.

It is well-known to Chinese food lovers that Peking Duck is a traditional Chinese dish and has enjoyed great popularity. Located in Orange, Connecticut, the restaurant has remedied the situation that there are few restaurants featuring Peking Duck in the area. The Peking duck served in here is a two-course affair. You can order a half or a whole duck and you can also watch the chef gets the crisp skin carved from the duck at tableside. Besides, you can either eat the duck wrapped in hot bread with shredded spring onion and sauce or chopped duck with free rice.

Apart from the delicious Peking duck in here, you would also be pleased to have some Cantonese cuisine. The most-ordered dishes include Szechuan Wontons in Hot Sauce, House Special Wonton Soup, Chicken with Garlic Sauce, Beef with String Beans in Garlic Sauce, Clams with Black Bean Sauce, and Seafood with Eggplant.
